I'm happy running 6.12 and there's nothing in Lightroom Classic that I need right now (other than being able to run on Catalina) so it would be nice to put off paying A$14.29 per month until there's something I actually need. I've looked in /Users//Library for files that change when I open Lightroom (or were changed at around the time I started it successfully or shut it down) but I can't see anything obvious.ĭoes anyone have any ideas what might be being changed? I'm guessing there's some file created or update when I run Lightroom that is reset by Migration Assistant. If I use Migration Assistant again, I get a working Lightroom, once, and then it can't be started again. The About screen flashes for a second and then the app quits with no messages. If I try to switch to a new catalog or just quit Lightroom it wont start again. I am able to start Lightroom successfully using an existing catalog. You can also request for specific lenses here. Adobe's development team adds new lens profiles every release.
I did this and I was able to get 6.12 on my new Macbook Pro running Catalina. p.1 6 p.1 6 Lightroom 6.14 Lens Profiles for new lenses 'As of, the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader is no longer developed and is unavailable for download. Lightroom also split the Lens profile from some of the features that were in the same box and put a place below called transform. Adobe fixed this in 6.0 and my map function is now fast and clear. It then dawned on me that I could migrate all the apps off my old Macbook Pro (running Sierra) including Lightroom 6.12 (I was never able to find 6.14) using Migration Assistant. I think somebody here on the forum said it was not working in Lightroom 5 because of a change that Google made. Of course, I can't install Lightroom 6.12 directly on Catalina. I made the mistake of not checking software compatibility more thoroughly when I bought a new Macbook Pro running Catalina.
